At the present time, Malta Ridge Methodist Church is being served by an interim pastor.

Interim Pastor

Arlene Schmidt is a Certified Lay Minister (CLM) and a long-time member of Malta Ridge Methodist Church. She has experience leading churches for three years.

She serves as the Coordinator of the Women’s Ministry for the Northeast Annual Global Conference.

Arlene is also an instructor with the Global Lay Equipping Team (LET). In this role, she walks alongside learners in their faith journey, helping individuals who are working toward becoming Certified Lay Ministers or who simply wish to grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ.

In addition, she serves as a lay pastor, filling the pulpit for other pastors who need occasional Sundays off.

Leadership Team

The church is supported not only by the interim pastor, but also by a dedicated leadership team made up of the Administrative Board, Trustees, Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC), Finance Committee, and Worship Team.

Preaching Team

There are also two additional members of the preaching team: Jay Rifenbary, a member of the church, and Pastor Mike Adams, who served as a pastor in Upstate New York for 13 years.

Together, these leaders work faithfully to support the mission and ministry of Malta Ridge Methodist Church.
